Klawes has lived in Nashotah and Oconomowoc her entire life. She says
her inspiration for becoming a teacher began in the first grade. "I
had a teacher who was a wonderful role model. Hopefully I've honored
her well. Teaching at Oconomowoc Nursery School for 35 years has been an
honor, and I love everything about it."
Mrs. Schlosser graduated from UW-Whitewater with a degree in Elementary and Special Education. She has been a part of the Oconomowoc Nursery staff since 2002.
Prior to coming to ONS, Mrs. Schlosser was a special education teacher at Merton Elementary School for 7 years. She also was a substitute teacher for the Oconomowoc and Arrowhead school districts as well as at ONS.
Mrs. Schlosser says, "I feel privileged to be a teacher at ONS. I know first hand that we have a wonderful and successful program for children. It is so rewarding to watch them grow socially, emotionally, and academically. I enjoy the children's love of learning, laughter, hugs and their contagious smiles. We are blessed to have wonderful and supportive families at ONS. ONS is a great place to be!"
